NFL Draft

Monday, April 27th, 2009

This past weekend many NFL sport enthusiasts had their television powered on for two days as the 2009 draft happened.  The first team to pick was the Detroit Lions with 16 losses during last season.  Will their picks and trades get them a win during the upcoming season?  The last team on the roster was the Pittsburgh Steelers, the XLIII Super Bowl Champions.  Will their picks and trades get them their 7th Super Bowl Trophy?

If you are interested in having an NFL player inspire your audience at your next meeting, please consider:

Rocky Bleier - From a combat tour in Vietnam that left him unable to walk, Rocky Bleier rose above all obstacles to become one of the NFL’s premier running backs and a member of the four-time world champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

Vince Papale - In 1976, at the age of 30, Vince tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles, made the team, and became the oldest rookie in the history of the NFL. He still holds that record!
