127 Hours
Friday, August 27th, 2010The new film, 127 Hours, directed by Danny Boyle and starring James Franco, is a film based on the story of Aron Ralston - the mountain climber who amputated his own arm to free himself - after being trapped by a boulder for nearly five days. Look for the movie in theaters this November.
Hawks win the Stanley Cup
Thursday, June 10th, 2010Chicago’s Patrick Kane snuck the puck past Philadelphia’s Michael Leighton last night, giving the Blackhawks an overtime win against the Flyers in Game 6. The final score was 4-3. It’s their first championship since 1961 and the city will celebrate in a big way with a parade on Friday!
The Stanley Cup generates excitement for the sport while increasing the requests for hockey players and coaches as speakers on performance, teamwork, winning and leadership.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom
Friday, August 14th, 2009The Presidential Medal of Freedom is an annual award that was created after World War II when President Truman wanted to honor civilian service during the war.
On Wednesday, in the East Room of The White House, President Barack Obama awarded the nation’s highest civilian honor to 16 “agents of change.” He highlighted their accomplishments as examples of the goals a person can reach and the difference they can make in the lives of others.
