State of the Union

In President Obama’s address to Congress and the nation last night,  he vowed he would continue to fight for overhauls of health care, energy and education.

The president spent about two-thirds of his time discussing the economy, which is top of mind for Americans as the recession persists.

As individuals and organizations are still wondering how this will all affect their bottom line, they are turning to economist, Todd Buchholz.

By “connecting the dots” of the world economy with his program, “Is the Economy Headed Higher —  or Off a Cliff?” Todd Buchholz will help his audience develop a vision for the economy and the stock market.

Movies can help us think Globally

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

Slumdog Millionaire, the amazing story of a champion on India’s version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, was the BIG winner at The 81st Annual Academy Awards. The film won eight Oscars in total, including Best Picture and Best Director.   Movies like this, along with past Oscar winners: Ghandi, Lawrence of Arabia, The Last Emperor and An American in Paris are not only entertaining but they also open our minds to think globally.  And in today’s times we should be thinking globally about business and the economy.

A Global Entrepreneur, Tom Faranda, focuses on “Global Realities That Impact Your Bottom Line”.  Tom’s “Strategic Global Strategies” for the next ten years will help businesses develop a profitable five and ten year global plan. These strategies will amaze you, shock you, and they will help you deliver a better “bottom line”. Tom was correct about the rise and fall of Japan, the movement in the value of the EURO, the rise of Asia and especially the rise of China and India. His well-researched “bottom line” ideas will help create global competitive advantages to increase market share and profitability.

A Global Economist, Don Reynolds, presents on the last twenty years and how the global economy has produced three billion new capitalists with a voracious appetite for consumer products, while creating a new global labor market. Asia has become the second engine of global economic growth; Europe seeks to define its new global identity; a Latin America witness the birth of a new middle class; and mineral and agricultural rich Canada is perfectly positioned. Don presents a bold assessment of the current political and economic events and forecasts major trends in the global economy.
