Olympic gold medalist Jennie Finch announced last week she is retiring after a 10-year career in softball. She is retiring at the age of 29 to focus on her family.
Finch played at Arizona before joining the U.S. team. She had 60 consecutive wins; an NCAA records. She won gold at the 2004 Olympics in Athens and silver in Beijing. This month, she helped the U.S. win its seventh straight world championship.
