The American Music Awards

The American Music Awards aired last Sunday on ABC with performances by Alicia Keys and Jay-Z, Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Janet Jackson, to name a few. Michael Jackson was honored with four awards. Country music singer Taylor Swift received four awards, including “artist of the year”.

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin started her book promo today by appearing on The Oprah Show. Tomorrow she will have appearances on; Good Morning America with Barbara Walters and more.

Tomorrow, Going Rogue: An American Life, will be available in bookstores. The book is already declared as a bestseller.

Wednesday, the tour begins in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

So the questions are:

Will Sarah Palin try for the White House again?

Is Sarah Palin hoping to get a talk show?

Will Levi Johnston be at Thanksgiving Dinner?

NY Yankees Win World Series

The New York Yankees waited nine years for championship No. 27

Owner, George Steinbrenner, has waited years for his team to win again. At long last, his team did. Fittingly, the game was dedicated to Steinbrenner, the 79-year-old owner. Unfortunately, his health prevented him from attending the game. His son, Hal, the team’s managing general partner, accepted the championship trophy.

With baseball season over, organizations are looking to baseball greats to draw analogies between the world of sports and business. Some audience favorites include: Tommy Lasorda, Dusty Baker, Sparky Anderson, Jim Bouton, Steve Garvey and Johnny Bench.
