Penguins defeat the Red Wings

The Pittsburgh Penguins defeat the Detroit Red Wings to win the 2008-2009 Stanley Cup.

The “Miracle on Ice” is the nickname given to a February 22 medal-round men’s ice hockey game during the 1980 Olympic Winter Games. The United States defeated the Soviet Union team, who were considered to be the best international hockey team in the world.

Miracle, from Walt Disney pictures, is the inspiring story of hockey player Mike Eruzione, his coach the late Herb Brooks, and his fellow teammates; as they transcended their sport and unite a nation with a new feeling of hope.

Erin Brockovich on The Early Show

This week on The Early Show, Erin Brockovich discussed contaminated water found in the town of Midland, Texas. The substance in the water is: hexavalent chromium. The same substance, also known as chromium-6, is what Brockovich found in the water in Hinkley, California. Brockovich noted, “The only difference between here and Hinkley, is that I saw higher levels here than I saw in Hinkley.”

Erin Brockovich is known for leading the Hinkley investigation, which Julia Roberts made famous with her portrayal of Erin in the film, Erin Brockovich.

Keith Ferazzi appears on Good Morning America

Keith Ferrazzi is currently doing a six-part series on Good Morning America, which airs from 7:00-9:00 a.m. on ABC.

In the first installment of Good Morning America, Keith took four displaced New Yorkers and formed a Lifeline Group. He also talked about what a Lifeline Group is and how this kind of movement can change the world. Each member of the NY group has a specific goal that they wanted to accomplish with each others’ help within one month.
