What Bernie Madoff Couldn’t Steal From Speaker, Matt Weinstein

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

As Bernard Madoff arrived at a New York courthouse this morning, excerpts of Matt Weinstein’s interview regarding his thoughts on Madoff’s Ponzi scheme aired on NBC’s Today show. A Ponzi scheme is pyramid fraud, in which earlier investors are paid with the money of new clients.

Madoff, a former chairman of the NASDAQ stock exchange, accused of defrauding people out of billions of dollars, was ordered into jail after he pleaded guilty today to 11 charges.

One of the many investors swindled is speaker and author, Matt Weinstein.  Matt now offers a program telling his personal story of the Bernie Madoff debacle, “What Bernie Madoff Couldn’t Steal From Me: How I Turned A Win-Lose Disaster into a Win-Win Life.”
